Origins

The Origins Collection is comprised of 5 emblems paying homage to my families roots. Having both Colombian and Venezuelan heritage I am constantly looking for ways to blend the artificial barrier between the two.

The collection was inpsired by tapestries from a region known as La Guajira. This regions borders both Colombia and Venezuela and yet has a culture completely unique to itself. Home to the Wayuu people, this region has strong ties to its indigenous roots. As someone with roots from both countries, La Guajira embodies the intersection of my heritage, where the spirit of both Colombia and Venezuela lives in one enduring landscape.
